Dress Code

Dance shoes are not to be worn outside.

Jewelry is not to be worn in class.

Hair must be worn up in a secure bun in every class, and proper dance attire is required.

Please come to each class with a bottle of water.

Combo Class
Kids Club / Dance Team

Kids Club:

  • Black (thin strapped) leotard

  • Black SLIP ON (no laces) split-sole Jazz shoes

 

Dance Team:

  • Black (thin strapped) leotard

  • Black tights

  • Black (full length) Jazz pants

  • Black Hip Hop Dance sneakers

 

This is the attire needed for class and for ALL outside performances.

 

Intermediate, Junior, Senior, Intensive & Advanced Divisions

Ballet:

  • Black leotard

  • Pink (footed or convertible) tights

  • Pink Ballet slippers
        (slippers MUST have elastics)

  • Black Ballet skirts

 

Jazz/Tap:

  • Black leotard

  • Black or Tan tights and Black Jazz shorts are optional

  • Black SLIP ON (no laces) split-sole Jazz shoes

  • Black oxford hard sole lace up Tap shoes.

 

Lyrical/Contemporary

  • Black (thin strapped) leotard

  • Suntan Stirrup tights

  • Beige “foot thong” may be worn on the feet, but dancers are encouraged to dance bare foot.

Senior Ballet / Pointe 

Dancers must come to class prepared and ready to learn. Failure to adhere to this dress code may result in a student’s removal from class that day. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the instructor.

Body:

  • Plain black leotard (may be thin strap, tank, short sleeve, or long sleeve)

  • Clean pink footed or convertible tights

  • Plain black dance shorts or a plain black ballet skirt may be worn over the leotard, but this is optional

  • A black tight-fitting sweater or wrap may be worn in class during the winter months

Shoes:

  • Pink leather or canvas ballet slippers with drawstrings tucked inside

  • For pointe: properly fitted pink pointe shoes with ribbons and elastics attached

Hair

  • A neat, secure, and slicked-back bun (high or low)

​

Jewelry

  • All bracelets, rings, and necklaces should be removed prior to class

  • Stud earrings may be worn- no large hoops please!

Hip Hop / Video Jam /
Hip Hop Party

  • Black (thin strapped) leotard

  • Black tights

  • Black Hip Hop Dance sneakers

 

Black Jazz shorts & fitted tank tops may be worn over leotards for these classes.

  

Adult Classes & ZUMBA!

  • Comfortable attire

  • Dance sneakers
